Occupational Training
Career Transition Center, Inc. programs are designed to respond to the
changing needs of the regions business community. The training programs
include occupational skill training, skill enhancement retraining, and possible entrepreneurial
training. Training services are tied to labor market needs and available
funding.
Training options programs reflect the local labor market and may include
courses in Information Technology, Allied Health, Office Support and other
growth or flourishing areas of the local economy.
CTC, Inc. eligible participants may select a school or training provider
from an approved Maryland State Training providers list. Eligible job seekers
are educated about available schools before selecting the local
training provider. In most cases, participants go to the site of the local
training provider to take the selected skill training.
